Natural No More
Yes it’s true I decided to relax my hair.Reason why is because the cut I have now,I cut my hair like april 14th or 15th.I got my back cut less than a inch,the sides a inch and the top is longer than the sides and back.I tried to do the whole wrap and mold with my natural hair with some foam but that didnt turn out right because of my curls,I just got fustrated and said fuck it I want my hair straight i’m just going to perm it.I permed my hair with a children’s perm by PJ’s.I’m at a point in my life where I need change and i’m changing lol.Next time I get a relaxer it will be done professionally because I feel like the perm could have took better than it did.
Let me tell yall before putting the perm in I was so nervous lol it been a year in a half since I had my hair permed plus I was doing it myself,it was new to me again.I don’t know how long I will continue to perm my hair but right now its what I want,I want straight her thats easy to manage.
i deactivated my facebook and twitter 3 days ago but it seems longer.Its been good not being totally addicted to the social networks, i can def live without them.I do plan on reactivating them on my birthday tuesday for some birthday wishes but 9 times out of 10 it wont be for good…i probably deactivate right after.We ‘ll see.
National Poetry Month&Challenge
So in case you didn’t know it’s National Poetry Month and alot of poets including myself are doing the 30/30 challenge which is a personal challenge to keep writing and push yourself,you have to write 30 poems in 30 days.I started late because I didn’t know about it until the 7th and caught up on the 8th,now because I’ve been sick these past two days plus lack of inspiration I haven’t wrote anything so I got to write 3 poems to catch up.In a way this challenege is helping because before I barely wrote any poems.
So if you are a poet and want to join go for it,yeah you have a lot of catching up to do but you can do it,allow yourself to be inspired and just let it flow!!
Change..For Now
I been saying that I was gonna get my hair done something that doesn’t leave my hair out and I did.I got a full sew-in,I wanted to go red or burgundy but wasn’t gonna dye my real hair so I got a weave.What I hate about getting hairstyles that includes braids and cornrows is the tightness,that’s why I barely get them.But I choose to get burgundy mixed with black with bangs,I really do like my hair and hopefully knowing me I will keep it in for at least a month.
